Line & Copyediting
My approach is collaborative and reader-focused—the goal is never to rewrite your manuscript into something that no longer sounds like you.
A comprehensive sentence-level edit focused on improving clarity, readability, flow, and consistency while preserving your unique voice and storytelling style.
THIS SERVICE INCLUDES
After beta reader feedback has been received, developmental edits are finalized, and major author revisions are complete, but before file formatting and ARC distribution. By this point, your story structure should already be stable.
Final Proofreading
Intentionally a lighter-touch service focused on surface-level polish rather than rewriting or restructuring.
The last editorial pass before publication. This stage focuses on catching lingering errors and ensuring your manuscript feels polished, professional, and publication-ready across both eBook and print formats.
THIS SERVICE INCLUDES
After final author revisions are complete and ARCs released. Ideally after or in conjunction with final file formatting to ensure quality checks can include all aspects of the manuscript. This is the final step immediately prior to publication.
Manuscript Formatting
This service does not include line editing, copyediting, or proofreading—it functions to provide detailed print and eBook formatting only for authors with fully edited manuscripts. Interior artwork (if applicable) should be completed beforehand and ready for integration.
A detailed review and edit of your final manuscript using Word, Kindle Create, and/or Atticus (depending on your specific needs), focused entirely on document layout, style consistency, and overall reader experience across eBook and print editions.
THIS SERVICE INCLUDES
Ideally before ARC distribution and final proofreading. If combining services with me, the majority of formatting will be completed during the line & copyediting stage in preparation for ARCs. Final quality checks will be performed during proofreading.
